Anche se ormai sono poche le persone che ancora utilizzano gli  Sms , l'applicazione  Messaggi  che si trova di default sugli smartphone Android riveste ancora la sua importanza. Dopotutto, il sistema dei brevi messaggi di testo è adoperato anche da operatori telefonici,  banche  e altri servizi per comunicare con i propri utenti: è quindi importante che funzioni correttamente. Al momento, sembra esserci qualche problema. Alcuni utenti hanno infatti iniziato a segnalare sui  forum ufficiali  la sparizione di messaggi, apparentemente senza spiegazione: il  fenomeno  pare essere iniziato già a gennaio, ma ancora non s'è concluso. Non si tratta solo di messaggi che scompaiono: in altri il testo risulta confuso, oppure il  mittente  è errato, oppure ancora alcuni Sms vengono segnati come già letti anche se non lo sono stati. Xiaomi svela lo smartphone con schermo avvolgente

Il Mi Mix Alpha ha un rapporto schermo-corpo del 180%. Se l'idea di produrre uno smartphone pieghevole affascina molti produttori, l'approccio scelto da  Xiaomi  è decisamente originale. Anziché produrre un dispositivo che si possa aprire a  libro , l'azienda cinese ha impiegato i brevetti che ha registrato in questo campo per produrre uno smartphone "circondato" dallo schermo. Non a caso l'ha chiamato  Surround Screen  e ne ha equipaggiato il modello Mi Mix Alpha, il quale ha - secondo le dichiarazioni dell'azienda stessa - un rapporto tra lo spazio occupato dal  display  e quello occupato dal corpo dello smartphone del 180,6%.
